I’m so, so thrilled to be sharing this project launch with y’all today! Brittnai came to me ready to start her own blog, and when I saw the aesthetic she was going for, I just knew it would be an exciting project for me!
Brittnai got in touch with me around mid-December, so we booked her project to start first thing in January. When we finally got started, I just fell in love with her project so quickly. Although I’m not a huge pink fan, I absolutely love how her moodboard turned out, and I knew exactly what we would do with the logo once we had the typography nailed down for the board.
We didn’t go through a lot of different logo options because I was pretty confident with two different variations that I had worked on including hand drawn text. I knew that including hand drawn type would add the most personality to the brand, and that I would be able to loosely match what we had on the moodboard.
After we got the logo nailed down, we moved on to the blog design. She had seen the work I had done for my previous client that referred her to me, so Brittnai was looking for a similar style blog design. It’s always helpful when a client likes work you’ve previously done. While you should always be pushing forward with the type of work you create, it’s definitely helpful to have a client who wants something that you know you can create.
It didn’t take long to finalize and develop her blog design, and we wrapped up the install just yesterday. I know a lot of people don’t work with Blogger because of it’s limitations, but I enjoy working with it from time to time. Although there aren’t quite as many things you can do with it, you can still create a nice design on there!
I’m absolutely thrilled with how the whole project came out, and I’m so honored I could be the one to help Brittnai bring her dream blog to life. You can check out her site here!
P.s. If you need new branding or a new website design, I’m currently booking projects for April and May! Let’s chat if you’re interested in working with me!
