I have to admit, since January I’ve been pushing myself to do more things. I set a goal to read 30 books this year, we’ve been putting importance on visiting new places around us, and I’ve adopted a new hobby that I absolutely adore. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m getting older or if I’m seeing the importance in doing things with D before our whole lives really change next year.
Whatever it is, I’ve been enjoying trying new things and being intentional with things we’ve already been doing. Because of that, and because of the things I want to do but can’t seem to do without setting the goal, I wanted to create a twenty-five before 25 list.
When I first started thinking about creating the list, I couldn’t seem to come up a single thing, so I spent some time today to think about what I want to do over the next year. When I was finally developing my ideas, I knew I didn’t want it to be entirely focused on work or this blog. I wanted to do things that I knew I would enjoy or that I actually see a value in.
I plan on putting my list on the fridge to remind me of things I want to accomplish. One of the biggest struggles for me when it comes to setting goals is that I always seem to forget what I want to do. Having a list of what I want to accomplish somewhere I’ll see it regularly helps me stay on track with things.
So – with all that said: here’s to another year!
