Another week gone, and I can’t believe it. I’m not sure how we’re already a full week into August, but like I said yesterday, I think that means fall is going to be here well before we think! As usual, I’ve got some fun posts for y’all to check out this weekend, and I can’t wait to hear what you think of them:
After having a mini consult session with me, Amber is sharing how she’s refocusing her blog content. It’s so amazing to hear that I’ve helped someone, even better to see the action that comes from it. Way to go, Amber!!
The thought of Facebook makes me roll my eyes now-a-days. Although I use it for personal use ( mostly just to be in a few groups ), I don’t think I could bring myself to deal with the stress of using it for business. However, if you do use it for that reason, Taylor has some great tips to help you stand out on the platform.
This is a great post from Melissa on six things she learned running a small business. I’ve learned those exact things myself in the last year and a half of business.
Another business post – Whitney shared a few secrets to getting work done from home. I also work from home, so I really enjoyed many of these tips.
I get a lot of emails from people who are interested in getting into the freelancing world, and whether you’re looking to get into doing freelance design work or something else, Belinda has a few great tips on how to get started.
I don’t usually dread Mondays every week, but I think these tips on how to look forward to Mondays by Camille can be applied to many things in life!
Plus a few things I totally forgot to share last week:
Great thought provoking post from Kim on why “if you’re not happy, change it” isn’t exactly great advice.
Also – my gal pal Ashley launched her new blog and new services last week. Check it out to see how she can help you!
There it is! If you’ve read anything that really grabbed your attention this week, don’t forget to share in the comments! :)
